We build the software we'd want to run our own business on.
ESASOFT is a Lahore-based software house. We build point-of-sale, ERP and management systems for restaurants, retail stores, pharmacies, hotels, rice mills, auto workshops, salons and housing schemes — and we support them ourselves, from the same office.
Software built for this market, not translated for it
A lot of business software sold in Pakistan was designed somewhere else and adapted afterwards. You can tell, because the things that matter here — khata, biana and mashroot tokens, post-dated cheques, CNIC records, PRA and FBR filing, weighing-scale barcodes, GST on a room bill — arrive as awkward add-ons, if they arrive at all.
We started from the other end. Every one of our products was built around how a Pakistani business actually runs its day, which is why those features are standard and why our POS systems keep billing when the internet doesn't.
We also try to be straight about what our software doesn't do yet. Every product page on this site carries a plainly written note listing unfinished features. We'd rather lose a sale than have a client discover a gap after they've paid.

Five things we won't compromise on
The counter must never stop
A point-of-sale system that stops taking money when the internet drops has failed at the one job it exists for. Ours run on your own local network.
Accounting belongs inside
"Export it to Excel for your accountant" is not accounting. Our systems post their own double-entry vouchers as you work, so a trial balance is always available.
Money leaves a trail
Every discount, void, refund, price change and stock movement is recorded against a named user. Not to police your staff — to settle disputes with facts.
Nothing is truly deleted
Financial records are archived, never erased. A deleted receipt can always be traced, and a mistake is never unrecoverable.
Honest about the gaps
Every product page here lists what isn't finished yet. It's a short-term cost and a long-term reason people stay with us.
Training is part of the product
Software nobody was taught to use is shelfware. We train the cashier, the storekeeper and the accountant — not just the owner.
