FAQ

Mill owners ask us this

Does it handle maunds, or do we have to convert everything to kilos?

It handles all of them. Maund (40kg), Bag-50, Bag-25, Bag-10, quintal and ton are built in and convert to and from kilos automatically. You can buy in maunds, sell in 50kg bags, and switch any stock report between KG, maunds and bags with one click. You can also define your own units by giving their kilo equivalent.

Can it calculate our milling recovery rate?

Yes — it's a core feature. You record each milling batch with its paddy input and its rice, broken rice, bran and husk outputs. The system calculates the recovery percentage for that batch, warns if input and output weights don't reconcile, and gives you a production report with average recovery and a trend across batches.

Do we get a printed gate pass for trucks?

Yes. Every inward and outward pass is auto-numbered, records the vehicle number, driver name, items with bag counts, and gross, tare and net weight — and prints on your own company header with a guard signature line. Stock only moves when the pass is closed, and the system will not let an outward pass release more than you have.

Is this proper accounting, or just an invoice register?

Proper accounting. There is a full chart of accounts, cash and bank vouchers, journal entries, a cashbook, a bank book, bank reconciliation and account ledgers — and Trial Balance, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reports generated from the same entries you already make. You don't need a separate accounting package.

Can our staff use it in Urdu?

Yes. There is a language toggle in the top bar, and selecting Urdu switches the entire interface to right-to-left — navigation, tables and forms included, not just the labels. Different users can each work in the language they prefer.

Do we need to install anything?

No. It runs in a normal web browser on any computer, tablet or phone, so there's nothing to install on each machine and you can check the mill's position from anywhere. It's licensed as a monthly subscription per company.

Can we run more than one company on it?

Each company gets its own separate account with its own users, products, parties and accounts. If you run several mills or businesses, talk to us about how you'd like them structured before setup — it's much easier to get right at the start.

How do labour and transport charges get recorded?

As their own lines on the invoice, each with its own note — for example "Loading charges" or "Transport to Lahore". They are kept separate from the item rate, so your product margins stay honest and you can see what handling actually costs you.
